We will explore breathing practices.
Examples of practices we may use are:
Anulom/Vilom - alternate nostril breathing
Kapalbhati - heating breath
Kaki - cooling breath
Connecting with our breath, by using various practices, will help to guide our awareness inward, detoxify our physical, mental and emotional bodies: assist in healing our whole Self.
We explore mudra and/or mantra practices.
Mudras are hand gestures or as my teacher would call it “yoga postures for your hands” .
Mantras are enlightening words or small phrases repeated to assist with meditation.
Using mudra and mantras we help to enhance our awareness of the senses and guide toward a deeper inward focus, a bringing forth of pleasure and a practice of meditation. Discovering and honoring your true Self.
